1 BREAD ALONE: Adventures in the Liaden Universe® Number 34 will be published on November 25, 2021. BREAD ALONE collects all of the so-called “bakery” stories into one volume. The stories included are: “Degrees of Separation,” “Fortune’s Favors,” “Block Party,” and “Our Lady of Benevolence.” The first three stories are reprints – that means they have been published previously – “Our Lady . . . ” is original to this chapbook. At the time this InfoDump was put to bed, preorders were available from Amazon. The other vendors will eventually have the book in stock, but for right now, you may PREorder from Amazon ONLY. 4 Liaden Universe® novel FAIR TRADE, the third featuring Jethri Gobelyn, a Terran apprenticed to a Liaden master trader, will be published by Baen on May 3, 2022. Cover art by David B. Mattingly. The hardcover may be preordered at your favorite bookstore; the ebook may not. There will be an ebook, but because of Baen’s tradition of providing an eARC before actual publication, the ebook cannot be preordered (we are repeating what we’re told here – further questions may be addressed to Baen at the email address on the site). We do not yet have a date for the appearance of the eARC nor any news on an audiobook – watch the skies.

5 Liaden Universe® short story “Gadreel’s Folly” will be included in the anthology, GIRLS IN TANK TOPS, edited by Jason Cordova. Projected publication date is late 2022, from Baen. Contributors include Lee and Miller, Esther Friesner, David Drake, Kevin Ikenberry, Robert E. Hampson, Joelle Presby, Marisa Wolf, Lydia Sherrer, G. Scott Huggins, and a few others. CARPE DIEM

FREE LIADEN STORY
For those who may have missed its debut on the front page of Baen.com, “A Visit to the Galaxy Ballroom,” is available to be read, for free, at this link

YES, THERE WILL BE MORE LIADEN NOVELS
Contrary to the rumor that has taken hold in parts of the internet, there are five more novels set in the Liaden Universe® scheduled.

TRADER’S LEAP, the 23rd novel in the Liaden Universe® will be published in November/December 2020.  This novel follows the adventures of Shan yos’Galan, Priscilla Mendoza, and the crew of the Dutiful Passage, as they struggle to fulfill the duty put on them by Delm Korval — establish new and profitable trade routes before the clan runs out of money!

Steve is even now working on the direct sequel to Trade Secret, featuring Jethri Gobelyn.  That novel is due to be turned in at the end of May 2020, and will be published some time in 2021. This will be Liaden Universe® novel Number 24.

After that, Steve is lead on another book starring Jethri Gobelyn — the sequel to the book above.  It is due to be turned in January 2021.  This will be Liaden Universe® novel Number 25.

There are two more books contracted after those  listed above, to wit! Liaden Universe® novels Number 26 and 27.  We don’t know what those will be about, yet.

To sum up — there are five more Liaden books in the pipeline, which is enough to keep us all busy.

BOSKONE
Sharon and Steve will be panelists at Boskone, February 14-16, 2020.

ALBACON
