  1. You really had not read the Faded Sun cycle before?
    – sounds unbelievable, as we had a German translation for decades.
    (just looked it up, since 1982!)

  2. As it happens, I had only ever read Shon’jir, ‘way back in the late 1970s/early 1980s. It was a Science Fiction Book Club offering and I didn’t realize that it was part of a trilogy. So, I’m enjoying myself reading the three of them straight through.

    However! I have not by any means read All The Sci-Fi. There were years together that I didn’t touch a science fiction book, and wandered the fields of mystery, fantasy, and romance…
