In other news, a Humongous Winter Storm is headed for the Cat Farm, with a predicted fall of heavy snow from 14-18 inches. I will, therefore, be going into town to take on supplies just as soon as I finish this blog entry.
Everybody stay safe.
They are only predicting 8 – 12 inches here in northern Maryland, but that will be enough to keep me home tomorrow also. After our lovely snow-free warm winter we get dumped on just in time for DC Cherry Blossom Festival which is supposed to start on Wednesday.
Finished Gathering Edge eARC. Great but, as always, left me wanting more such as getting Theo, Kamille, Daav and Allanya all together. Started to reread Saltatation again, mostly because, as a retired pilot, I enjoy the atmospheric flying scenes at the academy. Sailplane landing shows real understanding of updrafts etc. but the best is the dinner flight in the Star King. Felt right at home in the cockpit as it reminded me of many night flights during my career. Also the comment about Turn, Thrust, Twist Throttle, Talk is very close to real life where young pilots are taught Aviate, Navigate, Communicate.
