Just pre-ordered at Amazon. I know that Amazon has plenty of issues, but they do donate a portion of my purchase price to a charity of my choice – my local food bank. They are my first choice for charitable donations.
I’ve pre-ordered the ebook and will order the paper edition as soon as it goes live. I’ve used the Amazon donation for a number of years. It’s only a small percentage and I buy A LOT of books, but every little bit counts. I am sure Amazon writes off the donation corporately…they don’t do anything that doesn’t benefit them…but as I said, every little bit helps.
I hadn’t thought of choosing my local foodbank as the recipient but now I’ll check into that.
