Wrote about 990 words today, bringing the WIP to just over the 74,000-word fence. After, I laid myself down on the bed to do some PT — which I did manage to do before Firefly determinedly burrowed in against my side and put to me to sleep for an hour and a half. I am must refreshed, but somewhat behind on the day, which, in case anyone cares, is gloomy, wet, and cold.
I rustled up some soup for lunch, attended by Rookie. For my next trick, I will be changing out the cat fountains, and doing my duty to the cats, and that? may be all I manage on the day. I may have to rewatch the first part of “Maigret’s Revolver” because I can’t figure out why Lucas was learning how to make ramen, though I was impressed to find that she knows Japanese. Impressed, mind you, not surprised.
I’ve been noodling along the Salem pages, and honestly, I lucked into a marvelous location for my base camp. It looks like I can walk to anything that might interest me for my day away, the museum being my first interest.
So, that’s what’s happening — not happening, I should say — at the Cat Farm and Confusion Factory today.
What’s happening with you?
