Oh oh OH it looks so GOOD! I’m so sorry it wasn’t more fun in process, but what a glorious result! It has that delightful More-Than-Real quality where a depiction suggests more detail than is actually there. Usually it’s a character sketch in a book, the author’s chosen key points making me think I’d read a much more detailed description: this is like that, but instead of choice words, it’s the chosen colors and shapes. I’m not very good at explaining myself, but I wanted to try, so I could tell you of my sharp intake of breath while telling myself, “Well of *course* it’s *that kind* of good: she’s a writer.”
