And that’s a wrap

Accepting the Lance, by Sharon Lee and Steve Miller, the twenty-second novel in our original Liaden Universe® series, our eighty-sixth collaborative effort, has been turned in to Baen.

Lance weighs in at just about 130,000 words.

It will be published in December 2019.  Cover art will be by David Mattingly.

It is now traditional for the writer to say:

THUD.

  1. I just randomly picked up “Agent of Change” from a cruise ship library today—I’m not normally a sci-fi fan, but it seemed interesting enough.

I ended up reading it all in one sitting, it was so unexpectedly awesome. Then I checked the publish date, saw 1980s, and thought, “Oh bummer, this must be a long-dead series…”

Imagine my surprise when a quick Google search brought up this page! Wikipedia advised me there’s LOTS of books, and it’s still ongoing?!… Guess I have a lot of reading to do 🙂

  2. Congratulations!!! Your mighty achievement, part 22 (or 86), achieved!

I admit, I’m all shivery-antici-frightened what the foreshadowing of that title might foreshadow. (Aaaand now my back-brain is trying to make a joke about Shadow, accepting… hush, you)

  3. I guess I know what my husband and will be doing then! Can hardly wait. Thanks to both of you for your lovely works! Congratulations. That’s a weight off your shoulders, for sure.
