I just reserved #40 from the library. Do you have favorites from this list? I’d love some recommendations!
“Favorite” needs to stand a test of time. From this particular list of books I’ve read so far this year, I liked DISCLAIMER: enough to recommend generally, with the caveat that people will know their own tastes, and will not yell at me for steering them wrong for saying that I liked an Urban Fantasy title when they, themselves, have sworn that Urban Fantasy will never pass their eyes. Do you see why I don’t recommend books?…
Trading in Danger, Moon, 1st in a series
Some Danger Involved, Thomas, 1st in a series
Burn for Me, Andrews, 1st in a series
The Cold Eye, Gilman, SECOND in a series, the first is Silver on the Road, which I also liked
Small Gods, Pratchett, standalone, insomuch as any book in the Disc World is a standalone
Silence Fallen, Briggs, Sixth? in a series, I’ve read all of them
Hanged for a Sheep, Lockridges, this one may be a first-in-series, the Lockridges had several series going at more or less once, and I couldn’t even keep track of them when I was devouring the local library back when I was a kid
White Hot, Andrews, SECOND in a series
The Girl With Ghost Eyes, Boronson, 1st in a series
The Rule of Luck, Cerveny, 1st in a series
Blaze of Memory, Singh, somewhere in the psy-changeling series, but we haven’t been reading them in order
A Wrinkle in Time, L’Engle, 1st in a series
