Chore/shopping day today as I prepare for my monthly migration out of state for a 10-day work shift at my old hospital. I’ve kept my old position even if a continent away as it includes decades of friendships as well as close proximity to my aging mother with progressive dementia. I truly like the staff at her care facility, but in-person checks remain prudent on many, many levels.
