Bless you, I too lost my life mate. At times I felt like Davv because I swear I would hear his voice. I still do and am so grateful. I hurt for you because I know of the sudden week knees and no air when it hits you out of the blue that he is really gone.
Time does not heal, you accept,adapt and adjust as well as you can..
My life mate of 46 Years has been gone since September of 2022 and it feels like yesterday. When grieving time is warped.
I must thank you and Steve for helping Me through the loss of my Steve. Last winter I reread every single Liaden book. It gave me something to do with all of this time on my hands. The cats help ? but it’s not the same. As you say life goes on but its different now, you have to figure out who you are and how to proceed.
My thoughts are with you through this journey and I wish you many dreams of Steve.
