I was amazed to see D E Stevenson as I love her books and thought I’d managed to read all her stories. Thanks so much for enlightening me to the contrary. More happy reading. I hope it is up to her usual quality?

It’s slight, but there’s nothing wrong with it. I’ve previously read Miss Buncle’s Book — which I quite enjoyed — and Miss Buncle Marries (?). I found the second so horrifying that it very nearly retroactively ruined my enjoyment of the first. So, I approach D.E. Stevenson with a Great Deal of Trepidation.
