Saturday cat census

The cats have had quite a bit of extra work pressed upon them over the last week, as Steve and I ran back and forth to Bangor, and down to Augusta, and out on Friday night.  “Holding the fort” is hard.

But!  It’s Saturday at last, and we’re home, and intend to stay here until Monday morning.  Scrabble and Mozart are taking this opportunity to Rest Up in preparation of the Rigors of Next Week.

The coon cats, however, are indefatigable.

  1. I adore the cat update–as always. While looking at the one of Trooper and Sprite I glanced at the keyboard and became enthralled (please don’t tell them mere technology distracted me from their graces!). I am fond of my ergonomically designed keyboard but this one I haven’t encountered before!

  2. That is the Kinesis Advantage keyboard (http://www.thehumansolution.com/kinesis-advantage.html). I’ve used them since the early 90s. I think I’m on my third, not that they wear out quick, but I put a lot of words through my keyboards. I’d hate to tell you how many flat keyboards I killed before I couldn’t bear to type on them any more.

If you’re thinking about getting one, be aware that the learning curve is STEEP. The first week was particularly frustrating; and I was really considering throwing myself off a tall building. Fortunately, there are no tall buildings in Waterville.

  3. I just love our cat pictures and the narrations that go with the pictures! They are quite beautiful! I especially like Sprite and Tropper at work!
